Brent Faiyaz was born in Columbia Maryland. Faiyaz started making music at the age of 12.

He began uploading his experimental music - the Black VChild EP on SoundCloud in 2014 and moved from Columbia Maryland to Charlotte, NC then to Los Angeles to advance his musical career. On Jan. 15 2015 he releases his debut single “Allure” then “Invite me”

Success came in spurts as his soundtrack "Trust" did not enter the Billboard Hot 100, but peaked at number 13 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. "Dead Man Walking" did not enter the Billboard Hot 100, but peaked at number six on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. D

Faiyaz has aged into one of music’s most sought-after artists and has cultivated more than just a Grammy nomination. He's developed a loyal following that grows with each new release. Off the back of projects in Lost EP and his beloved 2017 debut album Sonder Son, Faiyaz not only has transcended genre with his angelic voice, but curates an immersively unique experience in his music.
