Beyoncé has won 28 Grammy Awards

It comes with no surprise to Beyoncé, Taylor Smith Swift and Kendrick Lamar as well as lizzo are in the mix among the wonderful lead talented artist nominated for the 2023 Grammy awards. Beyonce should get an album cover nomination as well because her pictured atop a glass electric horse in a outfit that has no words to really describe it, that alone is artwork.

Beyoncé has won 28 Grammy Awards, both as a solo artist and member of Destiny's Child and The Carters, making her the most honored singer, male or female, by the Grammys. She is also the most nominated artist in Grammy Award history with a total of 88 nominations. "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" won Song of the Year in 2010 while "Say My Name", "Crazy in Love" and "Drunk in Love" have each won Best R&B Song. Dangerously in Love, B'Day and I Am... Sasha Fierce have all won Best Contemporary R&B Album, while Lemonade has won Best Urban Contemporary Album. Beyoncé set the record for the most Grammy awards won by a female artist in one night in 2010 when she won six awards, breaking the tie she previously held with Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Alison Krauss, and Amy Winehouse, with Adele equaling this in 2012.


Lizzo is on a roll

Lizzo is on a roll with a hot reality show and a string of hits, she rolls into the Grammys with lots of momentum and a building fan base that she has earned with hard work and catchy songs. Her take me as I am stance his resonating with lots of women who are embracing their full-figuredness and men who can appreciate that.


Taylor Swift dominated the Billboard charts

Speaking of on a roll, there's a few artists in the world that are knocking it out of the park the way Taylor Swift has done. Her Total domination of the Billboard charts is absolutely remarkable. That domination will likely see her walk away with lots of Grammys in her arms. Swift, 32, has won 11 Grammys so far. She has the record of being the only female artist with three wins for “Album of the Year,” with folklore (2020), 1989 (2014) and Fearless (2009). Impressed? We are too. She is tied with Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra.

The Good News for Bad Bunny

Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny has made music history again. His 2022 album, "Un Verano Sin Ti," has been nominated for Album of the Year for the 2023 Grammy Awards — the first Spanish-language album to earn that honor in the organization's 65-year history. Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has won two Grammy awards and been nominated for six.
